Motorcycle stolen from parking space
An appeal is being made to find a bike that was stolen on Drakes Avenue on Tuesday, March 1. The motorcycle, registration number AF13ZJV, was taken from a parking space between 5.30pm and 8.45pm, neighbours saw a white male, 5.5ft pushing a similar bike on Drakes Avenue at 7.20pm.
Pawel Karpinski, a volunteer special constable with Bedfordshire Police, said: “I use the bike to commute to work and I really feel crippled without it.
“I am a therapy assistant in St Albans and without my bike, a vulnerable person might not receive the care they need.

“I am in a tricky financial situation and having no motorcycle to take me to work is going to cause further financial problems. I am devastated.” Call 101 if you have any information.
