UPDATE: Accident that closed Leighton bypass is cleared
The accident and car fire that caused the closure of the A4146 Leighton Buzzard bypass in both directions this morning has now been cleared.
The incident took place between the Garside roundabout and the Total Garage roundabout.
There were severe delays in the area for several hours.
